At Peter La Rowe Photography, every photo session is tailored to serve your specific needs. Our standards of excellence paired with seasoned experience ensure the capture of high-quality professional images that reflect your personality and unique individuality.
Be it a portrait or headshot session, our pricing structure is straightforward: a base session fee with a per image fee for each photo you choose to buy. Every purchased image includes professional retouching along with unlimited licensing for personal use.
Heirloom quality wall art and albums can be selected to further enhance your vision and photographic experience. No complicated packages bundled with products you don't want. You only pay for the images and products that you desire.

Session Info
Each client session is designed to provide you with a broad range of high-quality images tailored to suit your particular needs with session times ranging from fifteen minutes to three hours.
Headshots are typically shot in close from the upper chest up similar to a cinematic movie close up. It draws the viewer into you in a way that other types of shots can't resulting in impactful images that allow your personality to shine. Peter will coach you through each shot to help you find a natural ease, teasing out the real, authentic you with a variety of facial expressions, poses, and wardrobe changes.

Portraits involve a wider range of shots, varying from close in to full length body, in a variety of poses, with changes in wardrobe, lighting, and backgrounds or settings. These are more involved, requiring more time that a headshot to plan, set up, and execute with typical sessions lasting a minimum of three hours. Peter's years of experience in front of the camera will guide you through each setup and pose with graceful comfort resulting in a wide range of images that capture the true essence of you.
During the photo shoot Peter will review the images with you in real time, earmarking selections to keep or discard, narrowing down the captured images to the cream of the crop. This also serves as a coaching tool that allows him to help guide you towards your best presentation of self before the lens and have you intuitively start to pose in ways most flattering to your look, skills you can take with you for a lifetime.
At the end of the session, you'll work with Peter to choose your final image selections and any desired products like framed wall art or albums you would like to add to your order. The price for each image purchased is $150 and includes professional retouching along with unlimited licensing of the image for personal use. Please allow 7 - 10 business days for retouching services and delivery of your digital images. Delivery times for Wall art and albums are longer and predicated on the seasonality and capacity of the professional printing lab services at the time of order. The final price of your session will be determined with you after your session and the image/product selection process. You only pay for what you want to buy.
Hair & Makeup
MAKEUP
Professional Hair & Makeup service for women is available and while not required, it is highly recommended. Peter works with some very talented makeup artists who may have you seeing yourself in a whole new light. You'll work with the artist and Peter to achieve the look best suited for your shoot, one that is designed to compliment the lighting of the session while enhancing your natural beauty. It's a wonderful way to be pampered while removing a layer of stress in preparation for your session.
If you would prefer to handle your own makeup, keep it on the simple and natural side. Bring your kit with you and we can make adjustments as the shoot progresses if necessary.
Men generally look best with clean, natural grooming — no makeup needed.
HAIR
For both men and women, arrive to your shoot with your hair washed and styled the way you want to appear in your photos. You know your own hair, what products work for you, and how to make it look good. Treat your session like a hot date or important interview and show up looking your best, i.e. no bedhead, greasy locks, or disheveled chaos.
FACIAL HAIR
Guys, wash and groom your facial hair like you did you hair. Clean it up before the day of your shoot and bring your grooming accessories and products with you for adjustments during your session.
Wardrobe
First and foremost, you have to love what you bring and love how you feel when wearing it. Bring the clothing that best represents how you want to show up in your photographs. It should fit well, be clean, pressed if necessary, and reflect the nature of your shoot. Please bring as many outfits as you like that make you feel confident when you wear them. We can choose as we go, making changes as the shoot progresses.
Solid colors show up best on camera while small patterns, tiny polka dots, and fine, dense stripes create some unwanted effects that are difficult if not impossible to correct with retouching. Avoid branded product unless it's a corporate shoot and part of the desired look with big logos being the worst offenders.
JEWELRY
Keep it on the small side and try to avoid overly big, outsized pieces unless they are a part of your signature look. They become visually overbearing in photographs and distract from the main subject: you! Think small studded earrings or posts vs. large hoops or pendants, fine thin chains for necklaces with small pendants or none at all, with similar considerations for bracelets. Watches are the exception here so rock that Rolex or Omega dive watch with pride.

Booking Policy
To reserve your preferred date and time, we require the session fee to be paid in full at the time of booking.
This fee:
Encompasses our professional expertise, personalized service, and dedicated time.
Serves as a non-refundable retainer, reserving your session exclusively on our calendar.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our policies are designed to offer flexibility while respecting the time reserved for you and other clients:
Rescheduling
No-Fee Reschedule: Notify us by 10:00 a.m. at least 48 hours before your session to reschedule at no extra cost (within 60 days of your original date).
Second Reschedule: Subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Third Reschedule: Session fee will be forfeited.
Cancellations
48–24 Hours Notice: $75 rescheduling surcharge applies.
Same-Day Cancellation: $150 rescheduling surcharge applies.
No-Show: Session fee will be forfeited and your booking will be released.
Your time slot is reserved exclusively for you. Each reschedule or cancellation impacts our ability to serve other clients.
